I made this digital art painting from a photograph I took in Sanary-sur-Mer in 2020. Sanary-sur-Mer is a classified tourist resort, located in the Var department, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, 13 km from Toulon and 49 km from Marseille.
This typically Provençal village, a world diving city, has a particularly rich cultural, religious and architectural heritage. Many illustrious people, including Michel Pacha, Jacques-Yves Cousteau, Thomas Mann, Aldous Huxley, and Moses Kisling, have lived here. This painting is dedicated to the immense poetry of this city; it was finalized in my studio and stylized in digital painting with a graphic pad and then printed on dibond-alu with a wall mounting system.
PRODUCTION TECHNIQUES
I made this digital art painting from the scanning of a photo I took in the town of Sanary-sur-Mer. The technique consists in applying several layers of colours to reach the final result; this painting is then finalized in my workshop and stylized with a graphic pad then printed on dibond-alu (glossy finish) with a wall mounting system.
