I mainly use sticks of charcoal to put on the paper a kind of fulgurance of the emotion or the sensation of the moment. This method of fulgurance makes it possible to obtain very expressive contemporary art portraits which can establish a kind of relation and discussion with the observer. The artist's hand then materializes this emotion by putting on paper the features of charcoal, like an exquisite, uncalculated, spontaneous fulgurance. A part of my creations of portraits of digital art resulting from sessions of poses of alive models or my photographs is proposed on this page. A painting at charcoal is, from an artistic point of view, an expressive art. The digital painting, which is the result of this drawing at charcoal, of the original hand painting or of my photographs, is a new approach, a new expression. These artistic creations were partly made in a Fine Arts studio from the pose of live models. The technique consists in making a drawing at charcoal (portrait) within a given time (10 to 20 minutes poses); this drawing is then finalised in my studio, fixed, digitised, worked on with a graphic pad, then printed on art paper with framing, on canvas or on large, medium or small format dibond-alu with a wall mounting system.

Each painting from portrait is unique, hand-drawn and available immediately.
